Club Information “Birmingham Rocket Boys Club History” The Rocket Boys, as they were formally known, were founded in 2003 in Birmingham, Alabama as a successful corporate model rocket display team. From this humble family venture, the Birmingham Rocket Boys were formed. With members young and old, the Birmingham Rocket Boys are promoting model rocketry in the city, county and state and allowing its members and those in the community to experience the joy of building and safely launching model rockets. The Birmingham Rocket Boys commitment to training and educating youth in model rocketry has propelled them into the public schools to accomplish this goal. It is their desire and intent to reach as many youth as possible with the rewarding, educational and exciting challenge of model rocketry.
